ABNA24 - The Al-Azhar Islamci Center’s Schools Department has designed a new educational application entitled “Electronic Quran Recitation” for school students.
This application was designed with the aim of facilitating the correct teaching of Quran recitation for sixth grade primary school students and in line with the use of new technologies in Quran education, Youm7 website reported.
The preparation of this project was carried out by a team of experts in the field of programming from the Al-Azhar Schools Department, the report said.
The application was specifically designed and developed to facilitate the correct recitation of the Quran for students.
The General Directorate of Quran Affairs at Al-Azhar has conducted a technical review of this application to ensure the accuracy of the recitation, the integrity of the content, and its compliance with the rules of Tajweed and correct Quranic Rasm al-Khat (form of writing).
As an effective educational tool, this app can play a role in strengthening the process of teaching the Quran in Al-Azhar schools and even outside it, and provide access to the correct recitation of the Word of Revelation.
This application is currently available on Google Play, and students can easily download it and benefit from its features.
This project was implemented in line with Al-Azhar’s efforts to expand the use of modern technologies in religious education; an action that helps to strengthen correct Islamic values and facilitate the memorization and recitation of the Quran, the report said.
